I love a wreath, don't you? This wreath die is great, but I find it does require a fair amount of depilation! I think I've got all the whiskery bits off then, just as I go to stick it down, another one pops up. Quite frustrating to use.
To get the berries nestled in the leaves, I used the die-cut negative & made a template, which I pierced where I wanted the berries to be. Then I marked through the pierced holes with a pencil & added liquid pearls.
When I had finished, I realised that the text stamping is upside down. Sshh. Perhaps no one else will notice.

Jenny, I love these colors together. Such a sweet simple style to the wreath!
ReplyDeleteLove your card Jenny and especially the use of color.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors together!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I like how you added the two different coloured diecuts!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I had to look up "depilation!" Fun choice to use blue for your wreath with the red berries, Jenny. Really makes you take a second look!
ReplyDeleteI do love this wreath! The blues are fantastic and immediately caught my eye among all the other entries. The final product is fantastic (even if it was a lot of trouble to get there).
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! Love how you layered the die cuts and added the sweet little berries!!
ReplyDeleteI've been using the word 'charming' a lot in my comments on this blog hop, but your card definitely fits that description. Those blue-greens against the kraft are stunning.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous card - the colors are so rich and the card is awesome with the offset panel and the script behind. It is wonderful, thanks for the inspiration!
